Challenge Weeks #270-271 - Anything Goes

Welcome by for a brand new challenge today here at Word Art Wednesday.  We have three lucky winners, an AWESOME sponsor, a new freebie word art scripture file, and lots of fun planned for everyone.  Let's get started with the fun.

This week's scripture/word art is from Jeremiah 32:17 and says, "Ah Lord God!  behold thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee".  What a blessing to know that there is absolutely NO situation or problem too difficult for God.  Because He is the fountain of all being, power and life, no situation with Him is too difficult to overcome.  He is a God of boundless mercy and of strict justice, and He directs everything for the best.  Jeremiah also acknowledges here that God was righteous in causing evil to come upon them.  Like Jeremiah, we have to realize that all situations or conflicts, whether public or private, are ALL seen by God Almighty.  We can take great comfort in knowing that because our awesome God is involved, no matter what the situation; He sees what's happening and knows exactly how to remedy (fix) it.  We also need to learn that we should never argue with God regarding the results and outcomes of circumstances....but rather, to TRUST Him that He has a greater purpose and plan, and seek to know, accept and understand His will more perfectly in our journey as we grow ever closer to our Savior and become more like Him.

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Anything Goes - Challenge Weeks #268-269

Welcome by, everyone!  We're so glad you're here to play along with us.  We have one lucky winner of a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp, and a new challenge with THREE sponsors.  There's one for product here in the US, one for product in the UK, and one awesome digital prize to be won.  Keep reading for more information about these FUN sponsors, and your chance to win.

Our scripture for the word art is 1 Corinthians 13:13 which says, "And now abideth faith, hope and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity".  (KJV)  It's a verse that is often read at weddings.  This verse reminds us that these three graces (faith, hope and charity) remain imperishable and immortal for all time.  Other gifts and graces or virtues will pass away over time as the perfect succeeds the imperfect.  These three graces will remain through all eternity exalted and purified.  There is also an order in this trinity of graces; and the imperishable gift of God's love for us is first and greatest.  After all, it's because of His unending and unfailing love for us that we are able to simply call on His holy name and receive eternal life through His gift of eternal salvation.  That's love, and it's truly a great love!

Anything Goes - Challenge Weeks #266-267

Welcome back for another awesome challenge with us here at Word Art Wednesday!  We're so glad you've stopped by to play along with us.  Our amazing sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, is back with us for this challenge and they're offering one lucky winner a $25 Gift Certificate to their AWESOME store.

Our word art for this challenge is found in Psalm 121:1-2 which says, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth".  This is such a beautiful verse, and is extra special to me because I can actually remember when I was a small girl and my Grandfather would recite this verse in the mornings as he looked out his kitchen window towards the nearby hills.  He would call on God to bless his day and guide him through it.  What a beautiful testament for me to have witnessed as a child.  I learned that when I'd start my day by calling on God to sustain me...I could count on His presence in my day to protect me and bless me.   Never underestimate how powerful a message we send our children, grandchildren, and others when they see us read our Bible, hear us recite scripture, listen to and watch us pray, and gradually....we make an impact on their lives for the Lord, Jesus Christ.  Our help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth, and God will always give us what we need to get through any trial.  Lift your eyes up to Him, and always remember to call on God when you need help.  He's always there for us.

Anything Goes - Challenge Weeks #264-265

Welcome back, everyone, and happy 2017!!  It's the start of a brand new year, and we're super excited about all the great things God has blessed us with for this new year of sharing our artistic talents with one another.  If you take a look at the side-bar, you'll see all the wonderful sponsors we have lined up for the year.  Some have been with us for quite some time, and some are brand new to us.  We praise God for supplying ALL our needs, and as it always with Him, He has blessed us exceeding abundantly!  We want to say a HUGE thank you to all our amazing sponsors.  We are truly grateful for their generous support.

Our word art for this challenge was created with the verse Psalm 107:2 that says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so".  When translated, the original meaning of the word "redeemed" is delivered or rescued.  One might ask, "delivered or rescued from what"?  Well, the answer to that is....to be RESCUED FROM ETERNITY IN HELL....SEPARATED FROM GOD FOREVER.  I can't imagine the pure torture of one single second without Him.  But to be separated from His almighty presence for ALL ETERNITY is too much to even imagine.  It also refers to our deliverance from danger.  At the time, God's people were being delivered from their captivity in Babylon.  Praise God, we can also be delivered (rescued and safe from danger) for ALL ETERNITY.  So, if you are redeemed (saved, rescued, delivered and safe) by the blood of our the ONLY ONE TRUE GOD, Jesus Christ, then SAY SO!!!  Tell the world that you are redeemed and set free.  This news is too wonderful and to important to keep to ourselves.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!!
